February 3: Arlington, VA: Bill Evans hosts a banjo workshop featuring Bill Emerson, Kingstowne Acoustic Music, 5830 Kingstowne Center, #110, 7 to 9:30 p.m,.$50. "Getting a Great Sound and Exploring Emerson Style Banjo" is designed for all level students but is recommended for those with one or more years of playing experience. The emphasis is on fun and good times but you'll learn a lot in the process.
