2010 Performance and Workshop Schedule

August 31 to October 5: Berkeley, CA: Bill teaches a six-week Tuesday evening Bluegrass Ensemble Class: Beyond The Basics at the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse, 2020 Addison Street from 8:15 to 9:30 p.m. This class is open to all singers and bluegrass instrumentalists who are ready to move beyond a slow jam but aren't yet ready for stage performing or up to speed jams. Click on the Freight link for more info - we're going to have a great time! As of August 25th, the 8:15 p.m. class is full - however we are adding a SECOND section at 6:30 p.m.!! Please contact the Freight to register for this new section!

September 10: Oakland, CA: Bill Evans and Megan Lynch perform in a house concert in the Piedmont Avenue section of town hosted by the amazing Nova Brown. Concert at 8 p.m., doors open at 7:30 p.m. Email nova@supadupanova.com for reservations.

September 26: Santa Cruz , CA: Bluegrass Intentions play a house concert in the Santa Cruz area at the home of Irene Herrman, 7 p.m. Admission is suggested $15 donation, bring food and drink to share! For info, reservations and directions, email to hermann@ucsc.edu.

October 14: Nashville, TN: NashCamp Banjo Camp Teachers Concert with Bill, Ned Luberecki and many others TBA, Station Inn, 402 12th Avenue South, 615-255-3307.

October 15-17: Fairview, TN: Bill teaches at the 10th Annual Sonny Osborne NashCamp Banjo Retreat at Camp Marymount. Teachers include Alan Munde, Ned Luberecki, Bill Emerson with more TBA! This is the best bluegrass banjo camp in the world, folks!

November 26: Berkeley, CA: Bill and Jody Stecher return with The Secret Life of Banjos, their incredible two-man, twenty-two banjo show, at the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse, 2020 Addison Street, 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m.

Look for Bill to return to the road with a revamped solo "Banjo in America" show, featuring both new and historical music, beginning in early 2011! Dates already booked for northern California and the Northwest - stay tuned for more details!
