April 27: Berkeley, CA: Bill begins a "Bluegrass Banjo from Scratch" a new group class at the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse, 2020 Addison Street, 8:15 to 9:45 p.m. This class is open to all of those who want to learn the basics of Scruggs style banjo, including tuning, chords, good hand positions and body posture, Scruggs roll patterns, slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs and great easy songs such as "Cripple Creek" and "Boil Them Cabbage Down."
